My Awakening, Your Awakening And The Brain
Hi ,

Big Shifts

Many people are going through a spiritual awakening at the moment. It can be confusing, especially if you’re not entirely aware of it.

You can feel euphoric one week and flat and depressed the next.

I wanted to take a moment to pause and reflect on this process and consider what a spiritual awakening looks like. I feel like my own awakening lasted at least a decade, in fits and spurts. It was a messy process and still may not even be over. If I had to do it again, I now know what to look for. I would hopefully be able to manage the process a little better and shorten it!!

So, What Does A Spiritual Awakening Look Like?

Spiritual awakening comes when we may feel disconnected or dissatisfied with the world. Something inside us knows there is something not quite right in the world, but we are not sure exactly what.

We start to ask questions and search for answers to the more significant questions. We look for more meaning in life, why we are here, and the point of it all. We find a connection to something bigger, which completely changes our world's perspective.

On the flip side, we will experience the world's darkness to the same extent we experience the light. We see the corruption and chaos of the world that we did not see before in full view. It can lead us to feelings of disconnection, loneliness and isolation.

A spiritual awakening is not all sunshine and flowers.

A spiritual awakening oscillates between seeing the dark and the light until you can see them both. You are done when you see the light in the dark and the dark in the light.

Check out this week’s article to learn more about what a spiritual awakening looks like, and my personal experiences.

The Triune Brain…

When we understand how our human body, mind and heart function, we can begin to use these tools to manage our thoughts and emotions during a spiritual awakening. When we are conscious of our thoughts and emotions, we can choose which ones to pay attention to, keep, or discard.

I have created a video that explores why we think, feel and do the way we do. It explores how our brain is the control centre for our thoughts and emotions. The more you understand how things function, including yourself, the more empowered you are in your life.

The choice is yours...
