Refining My Business… Still!!

If you’ve been following me for a while you might have noticed it’s taken me literally years to gain clarity on what exactly my business is and the work I do. Even so, it’s still a work in progress and I know will continue to pivot and evolve - as I do.
Followers have come and gone as I have shifted and turned. You may have followed me when I was writing blogs for the sake of it. Or shifting into personal development, or more recently spirituality and the state of the world. And now tying that into purpose and business.

The whole time, I knew I was drawn to write, create and express myself, but I couldn’t see what was holding it together, or what my business actually was.
Turns out - that is exactly what is holding it together. To help people figure out what they want and what they are here to do. And how to turn it into a business.

We often teach what we most need!!
And I’ve found the missing pieces of the puzzle!!!

Passions, Purpose And Backup Plans

Some of the biggest things that kept me in a holding pattern for many years were:

• Having too many passions and interests and not wanting to choose one, or not knowing which was the right one. Trying to create multiple or mixed things doesn’t get you very far very fast.
• Trying to figure out what my purpose was, why I was here and what the heck I was supposed to be doing.
• Creating some sort of back-up plan every time I started to create a business, rather than committing to myself.

There’s nothing wrong with any of these things. Being multi-passionate is awesome . No knowing your purpose is fine – the whole point of life is to figure it out as you go. If you knew from the start, where do you go from there?
And backup plans, well, when you don’t know where you’re going they’re fine.

But once you do know where you’re going and you have absolute clarity, you don’t need them any more.
