Putting Off Muti-Passionate

One of the biggest struggles I have had most of my life, well two, is that I am a perpetual learner and I am multi-passionate. And my passions can change over time.
I chose a career in architecture because I figured it would give me the most variety. it did but it didn't. But how could an 18-year-old know the best decision for the 30,40 or 50-year-old me?
